for those that didn't get a chance to listen the first time around, we
have posted, to the downloads section of the mw website, the recording of mw's appearance on Pirate Cat Radio. as you may recall, mw appeared on the april 14th broadcast of the Hardly Working program, hosted by our friend Laisez Faire. all two hours of the program are now posted on the mw site. you may listen to the entire program, or just listen to certain sections. feel free to listen a little now...come back later...its "on demand" mw, at its best.

moth wranglers are to appear live on Pirate-Cat Radio this Thursday, on
the "Hardly Working" show, hosted by our friend Laisez Faire, broadcast
between 4PM and 6PM, Pacific Time. Pirate-Cat Radio is one of San
Francisco's (premier?) pirate radio stations, broadcast from somewhere
in the Mission District. So, for our friends in San Francisco, you may
be able to hear the broadcast over-the-air at 87.9 on your FM dial. For
everyone else, you can check out the live stream at
http://www.piratecatradio.com (or the direct link to the "Listen" page:
http://www.piratecatradio.com/site/listen.html) If you find that listening live ends up being a bit "cranky" for you, we're hoping to
record the show, and we'll have the archive stream up on our website
within the coming weeks. The boys will be performing some mw songs live
as well as talking about all sorts of ideas/issues, and even spinning
some old favs and related works. If you're in front of a radio or computer within that 2 hour window, please feel free to listen in. There will probably be lots of giggling going on.

have been frantic with various flare/pansy division/solo and other recording
projects, interrupted by assorted vacations, shows, hospital visits (don't
ask, brother), post-poned shows and other duties that come part and parcel
with their status as obscure pop stars and general cultural provocateurs...

        are moth wranglers?
good question. for now, let's just say it's the collaborative
recording project created by san franciscan chris xefos (ex-king
missile) and new yorker ld beghtol (frontman of nyc chamberpop
ensemble, flare, and guest vocalist on the magnetic fields' fab "69
